About The Book
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All - India Examination conducted for the engineering graduates seeking admission to post graduate courses in various Engineering Institutions including IIT’S and IISC, Bangalore. This book is written primarily as a guide to students who are appearing in GATE. This book has an aim to update the knowledge as well as to create a sense of confidence amongst the graduates of Computer Science and Information Technology. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), and Government of India. As per the instruction from National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India, the entire Gate examination paper will be of objective type and under the circumstances our panel of expert are of the view that to reply objective type questions, subjective knowledge is quite essential. Accordingly, the matter in the book have been modified. Keeping in view of the latest requirement according to the new Syllabus of GATE, necessary amendments have been done in this edition. The section of General Aptitude has been included according to the latest pattern for the exam.
